Dr. Vu is originally from Bac Ninh, Vietnam. He got a B.Eng in Civil Engineering (Vietnam), a MA.Sc in Solid Mechanics (Belgium) and a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering (Quebec). Dr. Vu did postdoctoral research at Hydro Quebec and Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal. He had worked at Ecole de technologie superieure and Concordia University as a Lecturer, Researcher, and Assistant Professor. He is currently a tenured faculty member at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
